Summary: Toknify provides a non-custodial crypto experience. Your private key is intended to remain on your device. Blockchain activity is public by nature.
1) Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Toknify may collect, use, share, and protect information when you use Toknify services, including the Toknify Wallet, Swap Service, Bitcoin Card flows, and TOK10 features.
2) Non-Custodial Wallet & Private Keys
- We do not custody your funds. Toknify is designed to let you control your own wallet.
- We do not ask you to send your private key to Toknify as part of normal operation. Wallet keys are intended to be generated/imported and stored locally on your device (for example, in browser storage).
- If you use an encrypted QR decrypt feature: decryption may occur via a server endpoint to return the decrypted data to your session. You should treat your private key as highly sensitive, and only use such features if you understand the risk.
3) Information We May Collect
A) Information you provide
- Messages you send to Toknify support (such as emails or form submissions).
- Any details you choose to include in a support request.
B) Technical and usage data
- IP address, device/browser type, operating system, referring/exit pages, and timestamps.
- Log data about requests and errors to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.
- Approximate location derived from IP (country/city level).
C) Blockchain-related data
- Public wallet addresses you use with Toknify, transaction hashes, token contract addresses, and other on-chain identifiers.
- Swap/transaction metadata (such as selected tokens, amounts, slippage settings) to the extent processed to perform the requested action.
- Note: On-chain data is generally public and may be visible on blockchain explorers.
4) How We Use Information
- To provide and operate Toknify features (wallet UI, swap routing, Bitcoin Card flows, and TOK10 interactions).
- To secure Toknify, prevent abuse, detect fraud, and protect users.
- To debug, maintain, and improve performance and reliability.
- To respond to support requests and communicate about service issues.
- To comply with legal obligations, enforce terms, and protect rights and safety.
5) Cookies, Local Storage, and Similar Technologies
- Toknify may use cookies for core site functionality (such as session handling, security, and preferences).
- Toknify Wallet features may use local browser storage to store wallet-related data on your device (for example, a locally stored key). This data is controlled by your browser/device and can be deleted by clearing your browser storage.
- You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling some cookies may affect site functionality.
6) Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data only as needed:
- Infrastructure providers: hosting, security, and performance services.
- Blockchain and swap infrastructure: RPC endpoints, swap aggregators, smart contracts, and blockchain explorers that process requests to complete transactions you initiate.
- Legal and safety: if required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
7) Third-Party Services
Toknify may link to or integrate third-party services (for example, blockchain explorers or swap routing providers). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
8) Data Retention
- We retain support and operational logs only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including security and troubleshooting.
- Blockchain data cannot be deleted. Transactions recorded on public blockchains are generally permanent and outside Toknify’s control.
9) Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and you use Toknify at your own risk. You are responsible for protecting your device and private keys.
10) Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of certain personal information, or to object to certain processing. Note that we may not be able to delete information required for legal, security, or operational reasons, and we cannot delete on-chain data.
11) Children’s Privacy
Toknify is not intended for children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us to request deletion where applicable.
12) International Use
Toknify may be accessed globally. Information may be processed in countries other than your own, which may have different data protection laws.
13) Updates to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date indicates the latest revision. Continued use of Toknify means you accept the updated Policy.
