How to use TOK10 step by step

This guide shows you exactly how to create or import a wallet, mint and redeem TOK10, and transfer your TOK10 tokens to other EVM addresses on BNB Smart Chain.

  • You only ever interact with TOK10 on BNB Smart Chain.
  • All balances and redemptions are enforced by the on-chain smart contract.
  • Always back up your private key or seed phrase before sending any funds.
Never share your private key or seed phrase with anyone. The dApp should never ask you to paste a seed phrase in a random form.
Step 1

Create or import your TOK10 wallet

  • 1
Open the TOK10 dApp page (for example /dapp-tok10) in a modern browser (Chrome, Brave, Edge).
  • 2
Choose "Create Wallet" to generate a new EVM wallet inside the dApp, or choose "Import Wallet" to load an existing address using your private key.
  • 3
When creating a new wallet, the dApp will display your private key once. Immediately copy it and store it in a safe, offline location (password manager or written backup).
  • 4
Set a password for local encryption. This password protects the private key stored in your browser. It does not replace your backup – if the browser data is cleared, only your offline backup can recover the funds.

After the wallet is set up, you will see your EVM address (0x...) and your BNB balance used for gas fees.

Step 2

Mint TOK10 by depositing basket assets

  • 1
Send supported basket assets (BTCB, USDT, ETH, WBNB, XRP, DOGE, USDC, SOL, DOT, ADA) to your TOK10 wallet address on BNB Smart Chain.
  • 2
In the dApp, open the "Mint & Deposit" section. You will see your balances for the supported tokens and an input to choose how much to deposit.
  • 3
Enter the amount you want to deposit and confirm. The dApp will:
    • Check that your balance is sufficient.
    • Check that you have enough BNB to pay the gas fee.
    • Send the transaction to the TOK10 smart contract.
  • 4
When the transaction is confirmed on-chain, the contract mints TOK10 to your wallet. Your TOK10 balance in the dApp will update automatically after the next refresh.
On-chain rule: 1 TOK10 represents ~1 USD of the underlying basket at the time of mint, based on Chainlink price feeds inside the contract.
Step 3

Redeem TOK10 back into the basket

  • 1
Go to the "Redeem" section of the dApp. Your current TOK10 balance is displayed.
  • 2
Enter the amount of TOK10 you want to redeem. You can choose a partial amount or your full balance.
  • 3
Confirm the redemption. The dApp will send a redeem transaction to the smart contract, burning your TOK10 and returning your pro-rata share of each basket asset back to your wallet.
  • 4
Wait for confirmation. Once mined, your wallet will hold more of the underlying tokens and less (or zero) TOK10.

A redemption fee may apply, but it is hard-capped in the smart contract and taken in TOK10, not from your basket assets.

Step 4

Transfer TOK10 to another wallet

  • 1
Open the "Transfer TOK10" toggle in the dApp. You will see:
    • A field to paste or scan the recipient EVM address (0x...).
    • An amount field for how many TOK10 to send.
  • 2
Use "Paste" if you copied an address, or use "Scan QR" if you are scanning a QR code that encodes an EVM address.
  • 3
When you press "Send", a confirmation overlay pops up showing:
    • The recipient address, partially masked.
    • The TOK10 amount you are about to transfer.
    Carefully verify both before confirming.
  • 4
Confirm the transfer. The dApp checks your TOK10 balance and your BNB gas balance, then broadcasts the transfer transaction.
Always double-check the recipient address. Crypto transfers on-chain cannot be reversed once confirmed.
Step 5

Safety checklist before sending real funds

  • Back up your private key or seed phrase in at least two safe locations.
  • Test with a very small amount of USDT or USDC before sending large values.
  • Verify you are on the official TOK10 dApp URL and not a phishing copy.
  • Keep a small BNB balance for gas – transactions will fail without gas.
  • Log out of the local wallet on shared or public devices after use.
If your browser storage is wiped and you did not export the private key, the TOK10 contract cannot help you recover funds. On-chain contracts cannot reset your wallet or send tokens back without a valid signature.
Step 6

Interact directly with the TOK10 contract

Even if the dApp is offline, you can always interact with TOK10 via the smart contract on BNB Smart Chain.

TOK10 contract (BNB Smart Chain): 0x23E457448cB34CAe7cBc4C218E9eECEE48aCc678 BscScan: https://bscscan.com/address/0x23E457448cB34CAe7cBc4C218E9eECEE48aCc678
  • 1
Open the contract page on BscScan and switch to the "Read Contract" tab to view reserves, totalSupply, and your balance.
  • 2
Connect your Web3 wallet in the "Write Contract" tab and use the mint / redeem functions exposed there if needed.
FAQ

Quick answers

  • Do I need an exchange account?
No. You only need a BNB Smart Chain wallet with BNB for gas and the supported basket assets to mint TOK10.
  • Can I lose money?
Yes. Crypto prices are volatile. Only use amounts you can afford to lose.
  • Is TOK10 a bank or ETF?
No. It is an on-chain index token governed by immutable code and oracles, not a regulated financial product.
